MHHS 1960’s Class Reunion

(Includes all graduating classes from 1960 through 1969)

June 19th & 20th, 2015

FRIDAY, June 19, 2015:

Noon to 5:00 p.m. Meet with your classmates. Informal gatherings around the motel pools or take a tour of Mtn. Home on your own.

Museum is a point of interest (old Carnegie Library). Open Monday-Friday 10 to 4:00). They will have a special OPEN HOUSE for our Reunion on Saturday morning

5:00 – Midnight ELKS CLUB Reunion Social Gathering: (Pick up Name Tags here!)

Finger foods will be provided & included in cost of registration.

Gene Green (Class of 61) will host Karaoke & provide recorded music of the 60’s.)

Cash/no host bar

SATURDAY, June 20, 2015


9:00 a.m. to Noon Museum Open House at the old Carnegie Library – Coffee and hot scones will be served at no charge.


10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. GOLF COURSE: 4-Person Best Ball Golf for those who pre-register. (Register by May 1st with your class representative.)


Noon to 4:00 BASQUE PARK GATHERING: (Kitty corner from the Elk’s Club) Musicians from several classes will be playing and singing, and others are welcome to join in. Dwight Thompson will set up and others who have confirmed that they will play or sing are Dwight Thompson, Pat Marvin, Fred “Pinto” Bennett, Warren Lemmon, Fred Pierce…and others. Food will be available for purchase.


5:00 p.m. to Midnight ELK’S CLUB – Dinner/Dance


5:00 to 6:30 - Social Hour with no host cash bar


6:30 to 8:00 – Dinner (included in cost of registration)


8:00 to 9:00 - Program and Class Speakers


9:00 to 12:00 – Dance to the Chancellors


***How to Dress: Any way you want! This will be a pretty casual and laid-back affair!

***Cost of Reunion is a very affordable flat rate of only $25/person whether you attend one or all events. A larger number of classes has enabled us to keep the fee low, so we hope you will all register early and put this on your schedule! The registration covers the cost of the live band, finger foods at the Elk’s Club on Friday night, and dinner at the Elk’s Club on Saturday night. Golf, bar drinks, and food at the Basque Park will be up to the individuals to purchase.

A note from Jim P. - You may be able to obtain better rates booking online than from calling the hotels.  

Check with them and be sure to ask for a senior discount or military discount if you qualify.
